Lesson Materials
140 lb. Cold press watercolor paper, "HB" pencil, Liquid Masking Fluid, watercolor paints (Ultramarine, Cadmium Yellow Hue, Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Red Pale Hue, Burnt Umber, and Gamboge Hue), paper towel, nylon brush, mixing palette. *Cotman tube watercolor paints are used.

Thanks so much! I’ve really enjoyed the eBooks! The videos don’t seem to cooperate with my computer. I DO have a question, though. When setting up the shadows for the right and left sides of the road, the shadows will veer towards right or left to match the side of the road that they’re on. So…. if you have a building at the end of the street that is casting shadows on the roadside, then the shadow would be straight behind the building,right?
Hi Matt. I am an absolute beginner watercolor student. I have made it to the Cityscape portion of your course. I am unfortunately still struggling with how much water and how much paint in my brush. Can you give me some guidelines or some reference material to review. Should I stop and practice some other techniques before continuing? Please help. Thanks kindly, Theresa
Theresa Zingg, i too have the same question, in addition to the cleaning of the brush and not spreading the color to others. How do you use the dirty and clean jars?
