Very interesting lesson. Thank you.
Great tutorial! Thanks
Great lesson love the way he take his time to explain.
Very good, you have opened my eyes.
Awesome Errol!
This is the very best that I have seen. I feel confident watching the video.
Thanks Anne-Marie!
How I am going to practice this lesson? Please help.
Hi Anne-Marie,
My suggestion is to paint a value scale first and then use the values that you create in a painting of a simple cube. It’s not a “finished” painting, but it is an important exercise.
Thank you, Matt
Hi,
I have just joined the program today. Can anyone help me to get rid of the top bar
with the words “Drawing, Painting, course…etc” this is blocking my view to the actual presentation. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
HI Rajashree,
This is the menu. If you are watching on a smaller computer screen, you can watch the videos full screen by clicking on the full screen icon when you scroll over the video. This will only show the video.
Excellent explanation, totally understand, of course now putting it into practice is the trick ( lol )
Thanks
I’ve done picture like this in colored pictures and black and white, but never in paints!!! Great introduction to value!👏😁🎨
Okay so I’ve been painting for a while now, and I’ve been using my pallet ALLOT, so now it is completely covered in paint. I’ve tried to clean it but I cUt get it off! Is there any other way to clean it? Thanks allot!
Gracie hope land
i always had trouble with the understanding of value and shading and i understand a little better but still dont quite get it any suggestions?
How to wash or clean the palette of the acrylic ?
Do you wipe your brushes between painting different hues? How do you clean your brushes at the end of a session?
Hello! Can I ask can colors be substituted? I don’t have a few of them?
Loved this lesson. Explained so clearly. I have been doing this in my paintings naturally, but this understanding and creating a value scale in my painting’s planning will be so useful!! Thank you.
Thank you for this lesson. Learnt a lot.
Matt,
Such a great lesson to establish the foundation and the basics of working with colors.
Thank you,
