    • Hi Denise,

I use Photoshop on a near daily basis, but I also use it for making graphics for the website. However, I do use it with every photo reference that I use. I crop images, take things out, experiment with colors, bump up contrast, etc. There are other programs that do the same thing, but Photoshop is the best. For me, it is a tool that I can’t live without, but it may different for you. If it makes sense for your workflow, then you may try it out. Adobe has a subscription option, so you may try it for a while and see if you’re using it enough to justify keeping it. I hope this helps.

    • Hi Deanna,

You can use the magnifying glass tool in the toolbar to zoom in or out or you can use the keyboard shortcut of (Command) + (+) on a Mac or (Ctrl) + (+) on a PC. You can zoom out using the keyboard shortcut of (Command) + (-) on a Mac or (Ctrl) + (-) on a PC.

    • Hi Joan,

I think you can do most of what this course covers in Elements but I’m not sure. I know that the Camera Raw filter which is covered in this course is not available in Elements.

  1. Hi all the crew, I am Humberto, currently a Designer, freelance, and passionate about photography and other cultural visual compositions. I have some expertise in Photoshop and have studied all of the Adobe basic tools (vectorial, photograph, editorial, and even web pages). I am trying to use Krita as well, and have tried to use GIMP with scarce accommodation on my side. I love to be an art student, despite being very old.
