Had doubts whether to send it or not, but i need help and this is the only way, in the picture teh ocean is out of focus and i think is the first mistake and how i can  make a better contrast around the bird and his wings.

Hi Fasanro,

The key to improving this image lies in the value.  There isn't enough contrast to make the bird stand out.  Color contrast is important of course, but value contrast is extremely important.  I've taken out the color to show you...

Now, look at the photo with the color removed....  Notice the contrast in value...  That's the key.  Make the value of the water a darker value of blue and then..."POP"  The bird with stand out.

Thanks, i learned two things, focus on the color values and turning a photo an my drawings  to black and white help me compare if the values are correct.
