Tropical Paradise: Pismo Beach

This graphite landscape was inspired by the beach I remember growing up at, Pismo Beach California. Any Advice?

I like it. I'm not totally sure where the beach ends and the water begins but I think that's as much to do with the limitations of graphite as anything else.

I think this drawing was a lot tougher to do than it looks.  You've left the white space for the clouds and foam really well.  The shadows appear to be in the right place. A little unsure of the structures to the left - are they dunes or little hills?  They look quite close right back to the last one - so I imagine they are dunes on the beach.  Looks like this drawing took quite a while to do with all the detail.  Get a nice atmosphere from it.   :)

The structures to the left are supposed to be big rock/boulders. They were kind of tough to do, being that I tried to do the palm trees first and then work underneath them, which I learned doesn't work well. lol
