Hey guys, leave a note here and tell me what tutorials you would like to see on the main site.  When I add them, I post a link for you.

For a tutorial and/or live lesson how about something on drawing glass? How to get it to look like a glass of water, a vase, looking through a window, etc. Also, light coming from within a structure, like a lighted window shining onto the ground, snow, etc. outside. Maybe a related subject, drawing the surface of a body of water, lake, stream, etc. Thanks.

Hi Creekside!

I added a video tutorial that you may be interested in.  It's how to draw glass with colored pencils.  Here's a link...

hi matt!

i've got a few that i'd really like to see for graphite please!

(not necessarily in this order):

- anatomy (i have a lot of trouble with the muscles of the shoulders, arms & calves especially!)
-backgrounds (i'd like to be able to put my characters into backgrounds like a room or a canyon or a castle, etc.)
- clothing folds
- stone (i draw fantasy, so i'd love to see how to draw the stone from castle walls up close - not from a distance please!)

i love the "secrets to drawing" series with the video/ebook combo, btw - it's been so helpful! :)

Here's some ideas..anyone feel good about them. Some have been touched on, but always beneficial elaborate I think....stippling..all types from little dancing = or # signs to plus + marks or other and possibly used for shadows, more water stuff, pastels with another medium for details or just more detailed pastels, any type. Also drawing on wood and preserving it. So yes?? Happy drawing/painting etc. ;)  Marcia in California.

I would really like to see a live lesson on how to do metal with colored pencil.  Especially rusty metal or old brass.  I have a colored pencil book that 'shows' how but it has a photo of the image half way done and a bunch of arrows saying use these colors here, here and here and use those colors here there and over here and it is really not helpful.

Hi Matt,
I just watched your tutorial on shading with graphite. Do you use blending stumps to help create shading? If you do could we maybe see how that works for graphite?

I just watched the lesson on Watercolor Pencils. It was the one with the Iris.
A series with this medium would be nice.

Hi Matt, not sure if this falls within the realm of potential tutorials, but I'd like to see recommendations for art medium storage, organization, mobile tote's etc... Specifically for drawing materials. I like to take my stuff with me to draw if the opportunity presents, but I'm not particularly enamored with my 4th grade pencil box or nylon planner bag...

Beyond that, I'm looking forward to the colored pencil tutorial!!
