Realistic Shading
« on: January 14, 2013, 09:36:14 AM »
I am having trouble with shading realistically and wouldn't mind seeing a video where you do this in real time. Maybe mention which technique your using at a given time. It would be nice to be able to see the pencil hitting the paper in slower/real time so you can see exactly which technique you are using rather than speeding thru it.

Forgot to mention that this would be in graphite pencil.

Matt,
Just took a peek at iTunes and watched Episode 1, Shading with Graphite.  I'm primarily a 'see it done' learner and this really helps a lot with shading!

Two thumbs and both big toes up!

Thank-you, Jill

I am new to this forum, not sure what has already been asked.
I want to learn more about creating illusion in my work, no
matter what the medium may be, it has to look real enough.
