Question about the 30Day sketchbook challenge
« on: July 15, 2014, 01:07:29 AM »
Does it have to be in/on a paper sketchbook, or can we use an app on iPad, such as Sketchbook pro, paper 53 or similar app?   thanks.

I may have missed this, but is there an age limit on this? My 10 year old son and I both would like to do this.

I don't know what you mean by resizing. I tried cropping and shrinking. I'm on an iPhone I can't see how many kilobytes my photos are and I don't know how to find out information in this phone. So again I ask does anyone know how I can get these pictures to post via my iPhone I do not have a desktop computer or laptop.

Just an FYI for anyone else having the resizing problem. I emailed the picture to myself and in doing so it asked me if I want small medium or large size and that way I could make it be less than 50 kB. Then I saved it to my photo folder and then I could insert it into my post on the 30 day challenge easy Peasy.  Too bad it took me two hours to figure it out sometimes iPhones are not a good thing.

Your may be having issues posting because the picture may be to large, it can't be any bigger then 500kb.  if you have a graphics program open the image you want to post and click on image then re-size the width and height down around 8x10 that should make the image small enough to post.  If you don't have a graphic program try downloading gimp its free  here's the link

hope this was helpful

Do the drawings have to be in 30 consecutive days or can it be 30 drawings by the 10th of September? I find my drawings are taking me two to three days to complete as each one is approx five hours to complete in color pencil.

Hi Sheldene,
You don't need to upload every sketch that you complete. Just one upload gets you into the contest. Of course you're welcome to upload more than one, but avoid duplicate uploads.
