Line and Wash- A Street
« on: April 17, 2017, 08:53:27 AM »
My reference photo is a picture of a street I downloaded from Google. I have not finished it yet; but I like how it looks now with only one part of it finished (the part on the right hand side) . The rest are still white paper with Ink Lines and some base color. I am wondering if I should add more watercolor or not. It may get worse from this point if I add more colors. I'll decide it later.

Good one. I particularly like the strong colours on the right hand side

The thing holding up the "Sumana" sign is transparent. Was that deliberate

I also like the right hand side part most :) I was more careful on that part than the rest of the drawing.
Yes, you are right that the thing holding up the "Sumana" sign is transparent. It  is made of thin metal lines bent as in photo to hold a sign : " Auberge de Rempart". I don't understand its meaning, so I replaced it with Sumana :D

Thanks very much for your great observation!
Wishing you a wonderful day !  :)

Very nice.  I would like to see this one critiqued as you have the first stage recorded to compare to the finished.   Very pleasant subject and love the colors.
