Colored Pencils / Basket of vegetables

Tried this from a photograph reference. I quite like the tomatoes and leafy vegetables part, but I think that the other vegetables could be more life-like.

I am happy I sticked to smooth Bristol paper as recommended in the tutorial.. It's easy to bring out the fur-like texture using strokes. The colours are a little different from the lesson though; became more colourful.

Well, that is a good first try.  I think pastels are difficult.  But, I love your sky and the misty fog.  I think it is good.  :-)  Keep going.  I know, from my own experience, that the more you do, the better it feels, and the better you do.  (Is that enough of a fire?  LOL!)

Very nice.  I would like to see this one critiqued as you have the first stage recorded to compare to the finished.   Very pleasant subject and love the colors.

Nice work!!  You should find a lot of inspiration with the sci-fi themes available today!!   And congrats for putting it out there.  It will be awhile before I feel confident enough to do that.

It looks good.  Good thing that you kept going and made it work!!!  Probably learned a lot in the process that will be useful to later pursuits.  And thank you for your feedback.
